Sandy Carter-Hiller, Co-Founder and Business Director

From a young age, I knew I was destined for the veterinary industry, though my path to this role has been unique. After initially pursuing a degree in social sciences, I quickly realized my true calling lay in veterinary care. I began working at an animal clinic in Pennsylvania while taking post-bac courses to realign my career. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for veterinary sales, which led me to Maryland in 2008.

With extensive experience across major veterinary companies and in veterinary oncology and start-ups, I have developed a deep understanding of the industry. Meeting my husband, Dr. Hiller, at a veterinary conference and sharing our dream of opening our own hospital, I now bring a wealth of industry knowledge and operational expertise to the role of Business Director. You’ll find me managing much of the behind-the-scenes work, ensuring our hospital runs smoothly and efficiently.
